We received many thanks for Lent @ The Writing Table in previous years. Here are a few observations and appreciations shared by participants:
We can’t wait to write with you during this Lenten season.ย Reserve your seat today!โI need to be ok being flexible. I was hoping to use this time for my creative writing during Lent, but today I really had to work on my sermon for Sunday! So I did, and I felt the inspiration getting stronger throughout our time this morning.โ โ Pastor A
โWriting is a sacred task. I didn’t use the prompts but they were a backdrop to this time. Great to have the second option of time this season. Holding a sense of community during Lent has been a lovely gift.โ โ Professor S
โIn the first pom wrote using the PROMPTS. They led me to a different place than I expected. I’ve used them as a brain dump. Really good exercise! Little tasks in the next pom, using the accountability of the space. โ โ Pastor L
โMy sense of calling to be here has gotten me here most days. A holy space.โ โ Pastor C
โI was continuing analysis of interviews. Just helps having others around working! ;-)โ โ Grad Student A
โThanks, as always, for this encouraging writing space.โ โ Professor D
